Varney Speedway runs 8 classes on a regular basis, most weekly, some bi-weekly. 2008 Rules for each class are listed here, as well as general track rules.

All Pro Modified

Steel, fibreglass or aluminum body styles are allowed, and must resemble an open wheel modified. Front wheels must be open body style. Track slicks are mandatory in this class.

Varney Late Models

The Late Model Class can include any North American built car, with a body made of fibreglass, aluminum or steel. V8 engines and racing slicks make for fast paced racing action

Super Street Stock

Open to any model of North American built two or four door sedan or hatchback, which came with a V8 engine. Engine must be stock for that make and model of car. Track Slicks are mandatory.

Street Stock

Open to any make or model of North American built two or four door sedan or hatchback, which came with a V-8 engine. Engine must be stock for that make and model of car. No reworking of intake and exhaust manifolds. D.O.T. Approved radial tires with maximum size of 235R60/65/ 70/ 75/ 78/15 series tires only.

Stock 4

Open to 4 cylinder cars with no larger than 2500 cc engines. Cars may be front or rear wheel drive. No mid or rear engine cars. Must  have stock wheelbase as factory listed for that year/model. D.O.T. Approved radial tires.

Mini Trucks

Rules regarding both technical specifications and age requirements for the Jr. and Sr. Mini Truck Divisions are laid out by the Varney Mini Truck Racing Association.

Trains

The most fun you (and the fans) can have on 12 wheels! Trains consist of three cars chained together with a driver in each car. Only the lead car has an engine. Unique to Varney Motor Speedway.

Vans

The van class races for pure fun and entertainment value, but not for points. Each time the vans race is a new and unique experience. You can race minivans only, any North American or Foreign produced front and rear or all wheel drive vans.
